[whinge]2008 hasn't been brill so far. Nothing drastic just me shutting down from sulking > lack of enthusiasm > climbing walls due to not being able to vid which dissolved into not even being able to photoshop as my olde PC ground to a halt. The only place I kept up on online was the CB board as I'm a mod.
Anyway, I finally have a new PC and I hadn't even had it a week before I upset it with being a typical libran and not being able to make up my mind what Adobe version/s I wanted so I still havent been able to vid :( so near and yet.... so today's been a reformatting day. Poor new PC is regretting coming to live with me! It's forced me to make a decision though and I'm going to try the CS3 afterall, fingers crossed it'll all work cos I'm falling in lurve with After Effects. [/]
But I'm left twiddling me fingers now till Monday evening so I'm venturing back onto the Internet.
 My Transformers fan obsession has faded a little - except on Sundays when I get to laugh like an idiot with B at TFA which is superrrrb ♥ I love Starscream of course but Prowl is too, too kewl. The coolest! And I'm now into SPN *points at Kitty* it's all her fault ;) *mwah*
Hopefully back into APP on Monday so I can get straight into that SPN vid for Kitty (very, very late Xmas pressie :( ) and Black Hawk Down.  (I don't have a Ewan smiley but he makes me do that :P )Yeah, more than 1 vid at a time. I got me a niiice machine with oodles of everything. :D

| IDW COVER ARTIST COMPETITION |

This morning, B & I braved the cold wind and walked all the way to the PO collection centre to pick up Skywarp & Ultra Magnus. I haven't been able to get my hands on my Warp yet :( Bear's scooped all the TFs in the house and armageddon has begun.........!
But, yeah... I said I wasn't going to but I have, I entered the IDW cover artist competition, just to challenge myself. I won't even get a vote in the first round, there are some truly incredible TF artists entering. I find TFs very difficult to draw. I am getting better at it though.
Anyway, for my entry I have Misfire as my main character and have to include Skyfall and Carnivac and they have to be in a desert setting. I have the dvd to help with drawing Misfire and so far he's proving to be a fun 'bot to draw. The other two - eek x 1,000,000. Reference material is hard tio come by. I don't own comics. *pleads* if any of my flist has good pix of Skyfall & Carnivac they can scan in for me I'd very grateful.
It's quite likely I won't make the deadline of Jan 15th, but not to worry, I just want to see what I can do
Even if I did get it done I doubt I'll enter it atm as still no-one has sent me an email from the IDW forums to confirm my registration. :(
so if I'm not around much for the next few days you know what I'm upto.

I scanned it in yesterday but I was hoping to get Blackout done too - I finally found the missing comic, and it's Blackout not Barricade, well it began with a 'b' :P I will have to reupload the other magazine profiles as my webhosting lost everything for me not so long ago. *tut tut*
anyway, Screamer gets a three page spread in January's issue.
edited to add, bugga! I cut off the edge of page 3, will sort that in the am.

My third Transformers video, the second one using G1 footage and I er... I stayed true to the cartoon and abused scale like hell - tee hee!
It is mostly Decepticons, unashamedly seeker-centric, well I am a Starscream fangirl, but I couldn't have made it with out the help of Ratchet, Prowl & Optimus Prime :)
The quotes are mostly out of context and of course anything of my own is daft - naturally!
No virtual jelly babies for spotting the Cleric in this one.
I hope you enjoy it. :D

Last Friday I gave superbean a wet willie, then I took it back (-5 points). In February I ruled Asscrackistan as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points). In June I helped queenswolf hide a body (-173 points). In July I put money in fidrich's expired parking meter (14 points). In March I invaded Iraq, broke it, and couldn't glue it back together before Mom got home (-1012 points).
Overall, I've been naughty (-1876 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich!

also sorry for my site being - well not there any more - grrrrr! my webhosting is now expecting me to learn all this fucking c-panel crap - I have no site until I can workout how to create an FTP fucker. There was nothing wrong with my FTP set up before - I am NOT impressed. It's at times like this I wish I had a Cleric to send round and shove a bloody big beretta in their face.
I finally got a mini TF2007 Starscream. A friend nabbed it from ASDA today for me. £2.99 waaaay cheaper than the £10+ I've seen them go for on eBay!!! Now BB and Jazz don't have it so cushy on the second shelf - mwhahahahahahaa. They also picked up a Megs and an OP lollipop each for me n B too :D
Amidoh, Stu told me that the silver squares with the black shape on are like those thermometer strips, and if you rub it, you get to see either the D or the A symbol. Mine only worked when I breathed on it, but yep - the D symbol was there :D
K... APP has reloaded, back to the vid....
